Hi Lovelies!
I don’t know about y’all, but I froze my butt off here in Austin yesterday. Talk about a cold front! It was 80 degrees here on Tuesday and yesterday its was 60! I mean, I know we have all been praying for fall, but I take it back. Haha! This is why I live in Texas….we’re not supposed to deal with that type of temperature until well into November or December. Thank goodness it was only one day! Well, while the cold lasted I broke out the layers and bundled up:) Plaid is HUGE this season, especially layered under a cozy sweater like this one. By the way…this sweater is the softest thing I have ever felt, props to Target for making me swoon the moment I touched it.

I love how the pearls and the red lipstick dress the outfit up a bit and make it feel more girlie:) I am all about the girlie looks.

Must add more plaid in my wardrobe. I actually do not only any plaid shirts. I do have a sweater from Target that I think I am going to pull out to wear today!

I love the lipstick! It looks great on you! And plaid is spot on. When I went to the Nordstrom Trend Show (although it was for makeup & beauty) the models had a section of the show where they came out in plaid and that’s when I began my search for the perfect plaid clothing item to add to my closet. BUT I can’t find anything I’m looking for, I usually have that problem, I’m looking for something so specific that I never find it in stores, it’s why I started sewing. Anyways, your plaid is great! 🙂
Thank you! This one is actually a little bit too baggy when there isn’t something over it….hence the sweater haha! I’m thinking about sewing it a bit to make it less huge…I’m just afraid to hurt it!

Woah that’s such a huge drop, i don’t think I’d be ready for that either haha. But, you made your plaid look so chic and preppy- i love it! I always forget to layer sweaters over my plaid and instead make it the statement piece. I really want to try it your way this week 🙂

I have a plaid shirt that is summery blues and have been trying to figure out how to integrate it into my Fall wardrobe. Looks like I’ll be sticking it under a sweater! Thanks for the inspiration!
